Around the World with the Red Cross

A little more than a year ago, I became Assistant Station Manager with the American Red Cross. During my interview, they emphasized the concept of worldwide mobility...and now I understand why. During the course of a year, I have gone from Washington DC, to Washington State, to Iraq. From city life, to mountain life, to desert life. This is the story of my four month sojourn to the desert, courtesy of the American Red Cross.
